Jurors

Lucha Rodríguez is a Venezuelan-Panamanian artist based in Atlanta, GA. She received her M.F.A. from Savannah College of Art and Design and her B.F.A. from The Art Institute of Atlanta. During her career, she has been featured in group and solo exhibitions in the U.S. and internationally in India, Mexico, China, and France. Rodríguez’s work has been exhibited most recently at The National Museum of Women in the Arts (Washington, D.C.), Atlanta Contemporary Art Center (Atlanta, GA), Union College Feigenbaum Center for Visual Arts Crowell and West Galleries (Schenectady, NY), Ortega y Gasset Projects (Brooklyn, NY), Telfair Museum (Savannah, GA), and the University of Central Florida (Orlando, Florida). Her work is included in permanent collections such as The High Museum of Art, Modern and Contemporary Art Collection; and The Bascom Center for Visual Arts. Rodríguez has been an artist-in-residence at ChaNorth, Vermont Studio Center, MASS MoCA, and Wassaic Project.











 


Known for his public art installations, sculpture, photography, and mixed-media constructions, Gregor Turk often incorporates mapping imagery and cultural markings into his artwork. He has permanent public art installations at the Atlanta and Jacksonville airports and his work is included in the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection and High Museum. Turk grew up in Atlanta, received his B.A. from Rhodes College in Memphis and his M.F.A. from Boston University. Between degrees he served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Liberia. His studio is located in Blandtown on Atlanta’s Westside. In addition to his work as an artist he has been involved in the Atlanta arts community for over three decades in numerous capacities: educator, administrator, public art policy advisor, grass-roots advocate, panelist, curator, and board member to various arts organizations.

Krista Clark was born in Burlington, Vermont and currently lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia. Her work is in the permanent collection of the High Museum of Art and MOCA GA. Clark’s work has been featured at the Studio Museum in Harlem, RedLine Contemporary Art Center in Denver, The United States Embassy in Bratislava, Slovakia, The Atlanta Contemporary Art Center and the High Museum in Atlanta and will be included in the upcoming New Museum Triennial. She is a recipient of the Artadia Award and the Working Artist Project Award with MOCA GA. She received her BFA from Atlanta College of Art, MA from New York University and MFA from Georgia State University. Krista Clark is an Assistant Professor at Morehouse College.
